Was doing some research on ebook reader device and came across this very interesting article which I simply must share with you.

After reading it, I sort of agree with the author…..maybe that is what they call “Window of Opportunity” and I cannot blame Amazon for seizing “the moment”. Personally, I would rather sell the ebooks in volume and on a regular basis rather than sell 1 ebookreader that a consumer buy one time and it will be ages before they buy the next one.

Is Amazon More Interested In Selling Kindle Books Than Kindle Readers?

As well as being a phenomenally successful product for Amazon, the Amazon Kindle e-book reader has played a hugely important role in putting both e-books and e-book readers on the map. However, it didn’t achieve its success as a result of being the first to market. The Rig Veda (Sanskrit: ?g-vedá, a compound of ?c “praise, verse” and veda “knowledge”) is an ancient Indian sacred collection of Vedic Sanskrit hymns dedicated to the gods (devas). It is counted among the four canonical sacred texts (?ruti) of Hinduism known as the Vedas. Some of its verses are still recited as Hindu prayers, at religious functions and other occasions, putting these among the world’s oldest religious texts in continued use.
